Stob a' Choire Mheadoin and Stob Coire Easain from Glen Spean

10.0 miles, 1042 metres of ascent
Estimated time: 5h
Both of these mountains lie in the middle of a long ridge, both fairly close together. There is a small carpark just before you get to An Dubh Lochan, start from there.
Head directly to the West and up the open hillside. You need to follow this long ridge in it's entirety, in some places it is fairly flat, in other places it is quite steep and a little bit scrambly. Stay on the nose of the ridge as far as possible and you will eventually reach the summit of Stob a'Choire Mheadhoin (2h45m).
Stob Coire Easain is not far away, drop South-West down to the bealach and up the other side and you are there!(3h30m).
You have a couple of choices on the reverse route, you can simply return the way you came up. Alternatively, drop back down to the bealach, and drop North-West down to Coire Laire from here. Stay on the East side of the river, there is a track you will be able to pick to take you back to the finishing point.
