Stob Ghabhar, Stob a' Choire Odhair from Victoria bridge

9.4 miles, 1232 metres of ascent
Estimated time: 5h15m
These two mountains form the Eastern end of a large massif of 7 Munros, a 2-day traverse of the whole massif would be a good way to pick them all up as some aren't as accessible as these two.
Start from Victoria bridge, there is a small carpark on the South side of Abhainn Shira. Walk along the road to the other side and pick up the track that takes you along the Northern bank of the river. After about a mile you will see a path following on the East side of Allt-Toaig, follow this path all the way up as it takes you all the way to directly beneath the summit of Stob a' Choire Odhair. Don't follow the path all the way in to Coire Toaig, instead turn to head directly up the side of the mountain along a stalker's path at 253446. This finishes a little short of the summit, but the gradient eases off and the distance is not too great from here (2h45m).
Head Westward off the summit following an obvious ridge down to point 668m. Continue to follow this ridge as it twists and turns; after a short distance it turns to head South and join the Aonach Eagach (not THE Aonach Eagach) ridge, follow this ridge as it finally makes it's way to the summit of Stob Ghabhar (4h15m).
Backtrack a little bit and then follow the South-East ridge down from the summit, don't descend directly down this mountain but instead swing round to the East to regain the path on the East side of Allt-Toaig before you reach the woods. If the river is in spate, you may be better off descending directly South from the summit and coming down to Clashgour, there is then a track you can follow East back to Victoria Bridge
