Creise and Meall a' Bhuiridh form the boundary for the Western end of Rannoch Moor. Both these mountains are accessible from the A82 as it continues from Rannoch Moor and in to Glen Coe. Meall a' Bhuiridh's northern slopes provides the venue for the Glen Coe Ski Centre, and this is the normal starting point.
If you wish you can also get the gondola up a big part of the mountain to give yourself a head start. Alternatively, a horseshoe traverse gives a good day out in the mountains with some scrambling available should you wish it.
One of the classic routes in this area is a combination of Creise and Meall a' Bhuiridh, but also combining Stob Ghabhar and Stob a' Choire Odhair to the South. This does however make for a long day in the mountains.
