Creag nan Damh

Location:NG983112
Height:918 m
3012 ft
Creag nan Damh is the most Western Munro on the long South Glen Shiel ridge. It is a fairly unremarkable mountain but does stand a little bit more in isolation than most of the peaks on the South Glen Shiel ridge; the re-ascent required from the col is reasonable.
The South Glen Shiel ridge is one of the classic walks in this area and takes in a total of seven Munros. It's a long day, but well worth it! The only downside is that your finish point is quite some distance from your starting point.
