MUNRO CENTRAL

Druim Shionnach

Location:NH074084
Height:987 m
3238 ft
Druim Shionnach is really little more than a bump on the South Glen Shiel ridge, however it is enough of a bump to warrant being a Munro. Walking along the ridge it is a gentle incline to get to the summit, but to the North and South the mountain falls off dramatically down to the Glens below.
The South Glen Shiel ridge is one of the classic walks in this area and takes in a total of seven Munros. It's a long day, but well worth it! The only downside is that your finish point is quite some distance from your starting point.
