Buachaille Etive Mor - Stob Dearg

Height:1021 m
3353 ft
Stob Dearg's East face is probably one of the most recognised mountains in all of Scotland, most know it as a Buachaille Etive Mor, although Buachaille Etive Mor is the ridge in it's entirety. The East face seemingly slices Rannoch Moor down the centre, with Glen Coe forming to the North and Glen Etive to the South. As you travel Northwards along the A82 the East face of Stob Dearg dramatically comes in to view as you clear round the side of Meall a' Bhuiridh. Fortunately there is an easier way up round the back with only a short section of what may pass as easy scrambling.
