Aonach air Chrith

Location:NH051083
Height:1021 m
3350 ft
Aonach air Chrith is the highest point on the long South Glen Shiel ridge. The summit is triangular in shape with two of the ridges continuing the Glen Shiel ridge while the North drops down over rocky terrain down to the Glen below.
The South Glen Shiel ridge is one of the classic walks in this area and takes in a total of seven Munros. It's a long day, but well worth it! The only downside is that your finish point is quite some distance from your starting point.
